What's been going on with Ainiti... |

New Digital Screen At Ainiti we are looking at innovative ways to make learning fun for our students and are constantly working on keeping them engaged. We are excited about the latest addition to our education toolset, a brand new Digital LED learning center made possible by generous donors like you. The quality of training is enhanced and we are seeing a lot of improvement in the communication between the students & remote instructors. This makes our classroom sessions highly interactive, much more interesting, and an enjoyable experience for the students.
English Classes - Now Offered In today’s day and age, English is an important world language and a must for professional and personal growth. Ainiti understands this & wants to help our students learn and immerse themselves in English. As a result, Ainiti has achieved another milestone by commencing remote coaching on Spoken English from United States through video conferencing via Zoom. Our aim is to have Ainiti students understand and speak fluent English. With this much needed skill under their belt, we hope to open doors for further education & career opportunities in their lives. |

All fun aside, our students are very enthusiastic about the 'Thank You' pictures we take for our Donors. They participate in writing the names on the board and making elaborate designs. As with the new tech generation the world over, they come up with very creative ideas to take interesting photographs.
When polled recently, we found that our students are very interested in pursuing Teaching as a career. This might have something to do with the classes we provide; they feel that learning computers has never been this easy. |

She has been consistent in her work ever since the first day and is very competitive. She gets her work done, has good communication skills but does lack confidence. Bhumika is a person who has always been underestimated by her classmates and to some extent by her family members. This sparks a sense of competitiveness in her and she wants to show the world, that they have been underestimating her. While she did not win MVP, and a free tablet as a prize in her computer class, she still shows up with a smile and an undying spirit.
Bhumika Patil is 13 years old, currently in 8th grade. She is a hardworking person not only with her academics but also with her extracurricular activities. According to her, she has been underestimated. But has an undying spirit. She accepts it as a challenge and works hard to prove everyone wrong. "Thank you Sir and everyone for having us here. I am glad that there still are people who don't want to criticize others but want to help in any way possible. Yes I wanted to win the Tablet, but that's okay; I wasn't the best this time, but I will work even more next time so that I can win the Tablet. Thank you Ainiti and all the people who work here. It is an amazing experience!" -Bhumika Patil |

Having worked with underprivileged children at Ainiti for over two years now we find that their greatest need is food and clothing. While their parents are poor laborers, most kids have decent shelter in the form of a small hut or makeshift home. Under these harsh circumstances it is nothing short of admirable that their parents have committed to provide their children a basic education. One of the deterrents to effective learning is the lack of food and clothing. At Ainiti we do provide the kids a meal after every class and occasionally some rations for the family. We often deliver clothes, books and backpacks to the kids as well. We recently realized that the kids need shoes and are often walking either barefoot or in a pair of old flipflops. With your help this can be easily remedied, we have started a holiday campaign to collect old shoes and sneakers! This has met with success with local schools and scout troops who have taken it on as a project. If you are interested in helping please email [email protected]

Tis' the season to give thanks! Our team at Ainiti would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your recent love, donations, and support for our girls.
As the year is winding to an end we look around and think about what will 2019 bring us. Will it bring us new friends, new opportunities, new goals to accomplish, who knows! What we do know is that with a donation to our nonprofit you can help a young struggling girl thrive in a new learning environment where she is given the tools to learn and succeed in her future endeavors.
Here at Ainiti we have some big plans for our students upcoming in 2019 and we hope you will be a part of them! Some of the upcoming plans include implementing in-depth English courses, hiring an executive director, and mobile education!
The team at Ainiti wants you all to know that it has been an incredible year here. Here is a recap of what we have been doing in our Ainiti program over 2018! |

Growing up in Mumbai, India, Bernadine de Souza always watched a bevy of little girls from the local orphanage sing their hearts out at Sunday church service. Their hair neatly combed and in ribbons, they left an indelible mark on her. For Philip de Souza, education is a passion. |
