What's been going on with Ainiti... |
|
|
AAiniti is working on new ways to boost the student's abilities by organizing new courses. The latest course that we are eager to introduce is the Basic Conversational English Course. This will be of tremendous help to the kids because this will enhance their English speaking skills/communication. We have come up with a new activity i.e Story & Poetry Writing, where every student is given a topic and gets a week to compose a story/poem. Once the students arrive at Ainiti they have to narrate their story/poem to the whole class. Putting this activity in practice will eventually be a game changer for the kids as this will completely free them of stage fright, help them with their communication skills and ultimately enhance their vocabulary and over all confidence. We also give them Project work every week, the whole class gets divided into 4 groups and are given 2 topics to work on (i) Components Of a Computer (ii) I love Ainiti ! We were thrilled with the output we received. Students came up with such beautiful 3D models. This activity will help the kids evolve their research skills and instill team spirit and help them learn from each other whilst having fun. |

Art and Craft students are very enthusiastic with the class and have given us their paintings as parting gifts. They also try to learn new Painting techniques from the internet when they get a chance to operate the computer. With the addition of Google Translate to our new Advance course, girls have been very eager to try and learn new languages. Specially Japanese, Chinese & French. Providing them with project work every week has shown improved results in students understanding of computer and also "English" language to certain level. Kids have started to write beautiful poems and with the help of Google Translate have been able to translate their poem from vernacular languages to English. This will certainly help them get a good grip on English which is recognized and used globally.

Sandhya is a confident kid but very shy at times. She is very good at following instructions and enjoys helping others if they fail to understand something taught in class.
Sandhya Kannaujiya is 15 years old, currently in 10th grade. She lives with her parents. Both of them value Sandhya's efforts towards her studies and extra curricular activites since they were deprived of getting an education. Sandhya's dad has got his family business and continues run the same, whereas her mom is a housewife. Sandhya studies in a Municipal School and is pretty good with her academics. Her favorite subjects are Mathematics, Computers and English Literature. "First of all I'm very happy to be selected as Ainiti's Spotlight kid, I remember once our tutor explained us what a newsletter actually is and since then I wanted to be on it. Coming to Ainiti is the best part of my school life. Before Ainiti, computer for me was nothing interesting just like any other subject I used to study it. After I came to Ainiti I actually started to understand what it is and enjoyed a lot. Glad to be a part of Ainiti. Thank You !" -Sandhya Kannaujiya
