Indira Joshi is an independent technology consultant. She has 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry spanning CPU architecture & design, Platform architecture and storage solutions.
Indira started her career as a design engineer in Intel’s CPU design organization. She was part of many successful CPU launches including Pentium, Nehalem and Haswell. She also led the Power management architecture group in Intel’s Client Platform Architecture organization. Their innovative power solutions were seminal to making Intel’s Ultrabook notebook design a reality. Indira has successfully led highly innovative engineering & architecture teams.
As Director of Datacenter Storage & Memory Architecture team at Samsung, her team was at the forefront of delivering high performance Storage reference solutions based on Samsung’s cutting edge Flash technologies for Datacenter & Enterprise solutions. The offerings included NVMe SSD based reference solutions code-named Sierra & Mission Peak.
Indira graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India.
