Help us distribute 75,000 meals from coast to coast to commemorate the 75th anniversary of World Food Day, October 16th, 2020.

To help us reach our goal of distributing 75,000 meals before World Food Day, Ainiti is working with the Capital Area Food Bank and the LA Regional Food Bank to distribute meals to women, girls, and families in dire need.

• In the US, women and children are disproportionately affected by food insecurity and the pandemic has exacerbated this.?
• In the areas surrounding Washington DC, the number of children impacted by food insecurity is expected to increase by 60%.?
• Food insecurity among children is linked to diminished academic performance and can pose as a risk to future of the next generation

Ainiti’s mission is to empower and educate girls through technology in areas where there is great need. In Mumbai, where the Ainiti school is located, the lockdown has sparked food insecurity amongst students and their families. We must help young girls with the basics of food in order to truly make an impact on their future. The funds raised will go directly to feeding girls and families in need.
